What is Junto?
Junto Boston is a curated, in-person social club inspired by the original Junto founded by Benjamin Franklin — small groups meeting with intention, in a spirit of mutual respect, to build real relationships. We don't have a physical clubhouse; gatherings are hosted at a rotating set of venues around Greater Boston, from intimate dinners to larger socials that bring the whole community together.
Who is Junto for?
Our members are founders, curators, academics, cooks — people mid-career and mid-question. We're less interested in a résumé than in who you are at the table. Membership is open to adults 21 and older, since many gatherings take place where alcohol is served.
How do I become a member?
Junto isn't an open sign-up — membership is by application and introduction. You can request an introduction through our website, and from there we may set up a conversation, a short waitlist, or an introductory event before extending an offer. Current members can also nominate people they think would be a great fit.
What happens at a Junto gathering?
Expect dinner, conversation, and a bit of debate. We don't operate our own venue — events are hosted at select restaurants and bars around Greater Boston, chosen to keep things intimate rather than a big open party.
Is there a cost to join?
Yes — membership includes a recurring due, and some events carry their own attendance fee. We share the specifics during the introduction process rather than publishing pricing here.
Can I bring a guest?
For events open to guests, yes. Members are responsible for their guest's conduct while at a Junto event.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes to both. Members can pause their membership for a limited stretch each year, and can cancel at any time — just reach out to the team. There's no long-term lock-in.
When is Junto launching, and how do I get involved now?
Junto is launching in Fall 2026. Sign up on our email list on our website to stay up to date — or if you already have a referral code, you can apply below.
